Nutrex looks to be developing a competitor for the energy drink category

Nutrex Developing An Energy Drink

Nutrex has been in the business of supplements longer than Stack3d has even been around, and it has impressively maintained a strong position. The sports nutrition specialist has made it big in several key categories, from its high-powered stimulant pre-workout Hemorage to its fully-dosed Outlift and legacy family Lipo 6 fat burners. Something Nutrex has not touched in its many years in the game is energy drinks, but that is about to change.

With the rise in interest and popularity of energy drinks, Nutrex has revealed that it is currently developing a canned and carbonated innovation. It hasn’t gone into much detail about what will be in the beverage, although if we had to guess, we’d go with the obvious energy drink with a sports nutrition twist. Chris Waldrum knows how to put together a potent and efficacious formula, and with him at the helm, we’re excited to see how it turns out.

It looks as though the potential Nutrex energy drink or maybe even a carbonated protein drink is in development, which means it’s likely still a long way away from being available. The sports nutrition company will undoubtedly tease the hell out of this as it approaches launch, especially if it has a strong point of difference. The energy drink category has become enormously competitive these past few years, but there is always room to make some noise.
