Avvatar in India is very much a protein powder specialist, which is no surprise as internationally that is far and beyond the most popular category of sports nutrition. Avvatar has yet to expand into functional, high-protein snacks, although in the coming weeks, it will be making that very play with the Avvatar Protein Wafer Bar.
The Indian health and nutrition company has announced that the Protein Wafer Bar is about to hit the market, featuring several crunchy wafer layers, and in between all of them is sweet and creamy milk chocolate. The product is also completely covered in chocolate, making for a light and crispy protein treat. The Avvatar Protein Wafer Bar is not overly large, weighing 40g a piece, and despite the size, the protein is fairly low as well, at half the usual 20g, with 10g of protein.
Fans of Avvatar will likely be very appreciative of the brand’s functional debut, as, again, it is already heavily present in the category of protein powder, and now they have something to eat on the move. As the brand itself puts it, the Avvatar Protein Wafer Bar is a new way to consume and meet your daily protein needs, and again, it’ll be making its way to the Indian market shortly.
