Alani Nu has continued to grow since joining the Celsius portfolio a few months ago in a 1.6 billion dollar sale, and now it’s reached an incredibly impressive milestone. The better-for-you beverage and supplement brand has pushed past a major mark in retail sales, showing just how much traction it’s gained over the last year. It’s actually a milestone that Celsius itself only hit a couple of years ago, making the two an even stronger pair following the acquisition.
In a press release from Celsius Holdings, Alani Nu has officially hit one billion in retail sales for the 52-week period ending around the middle of last month. That total reflects a 72.4% year-over-year increase and comes just a few weeks after the acquisition was finalized. The combination of growing consumer demand, broader distribution, and relevance has clearly pushed things forward, and puts a stamp on Celsius CEO John Fieldly’s comments on the acquisition.
Celsius put out the press release a few weeks ago and you can check it out in complete detail on its corporate website where it goes a bit more in-depth into the success and how Celsius and Alani Nu are leveraging each other’s strengths.
