The list of ready-to-drink protein supplements is rapidly growing this year, far more than any other year, and it includes innovations from both newcomers to the category and established competitors. Something we’ve seen within that trend is the expansion on clear protein powder in beverage, which is precisely what the team at Don’t Quit has just unveiled. At The Beverage Forum this year, the brand introduced its all-new and upcoming Don’t Quit Protein Soda.
Similar to Bucked Up’s Lightly Carbonated Protein Drink, Protein Soda from Don’t Quit is a clear and refreshing ready-to-drink protein product, separate from its already available, traditional Don’t Quit Protein Shake in milkshake-style flavors. The macros in Don’t Quit Protein Soda are different again, with less protein per can at 20g; however, in typical clear protein style, it’s incredibly lean where there is no carbohydrates, sugar, or fat, and only calories from protein at 80.
Don’t Quit Protein Soda is being sampled at The Beverage Forum in the one lone Orange flavor, although when it eventually comes to market, it’ll have four to choose from. The other three are another two fruity experiences in Fruit Punch and Grape, and an intriguing Root Beer. They will all keep with that balance of 20g of protein, no carbohydrates or sugar, and 80 calories, and they’re making their way to market in a couple of months in July at the likes of Walmart and CVS.
