Kodiak introduces breakfast sandwiches with protein-packed pancakes on either side

Kodiak Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches

Kodiak may have started in the business of clean, nutritious, protein pancake mix, but it has carried that approach into a whole bunch of other formats and continues to maintain an easily accessible retail presence. The functional brand now has snack bars, granola, Kodiak Cups, even syrups to throw on its delicious protein-packed foods, and new to its frozen section this month are Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches with 20g of protein a serving.

The Kodiak Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches take the clean and nutritious approach the brand is known for and create breakfast sandwiches from it. The result is two varieties in Sausage & Cheddar Cheese and Bacon & Colby Jack. They’re both primarily made with the ingredients in their name, the former putting sausage, egg, and cheddar between two maple pancakes, and in the latter, between the pancakes is crispy bacon, egg, and colby jack.

The macros are pretty balanced across the board, with the protein, carbohydrates, and fat, all being at around the same number. In every sandwich, you get 20g of protein with the help of the whey isolate-infused pancakes, 23 to 24g of carbohydrates, just 6g of that sugar, 15 to 23g of fat, and 310 to 390 calories.

The Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches are a great, fitting, and mouthwatering extension to the Kodiak family, having plenty of protein, more than a serving of its original Power Cakes, fewer carbohydrates, but higher calories due to the fat being up where it is. Both the Sausage & Cheddar Cheese and Bacon & Colby Jack varieties of the Kodiak Breakfast Sandwiches are now available in stores this month in the frozen section, packaged in boxes of two.
