The hit supplement company AG1 is one of the most recognized names in foundational nutrition, centered on its all-in-one superfood powder. AG1 combines over 70 vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and plant-based ingredients into a single daily drink for athletes, professionals, and everyday individuals. Expanding from daytime nutrition, the brand has introduced AGZ, a complementary nighttime formula designed to support relaxation and restorative sleep.
AGZ is built with a comprehensive approach, similar to the original AG1, starting with essential vitamins and minerals to assist natural sleep processes. From each serving, you get 5mg of vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate for neurotransmitter support, 250mg of magnesium from Magtein and bisglycinate for calming, and 12mg of zinc to promote recovery. Then there is glycine at 2g and 1g of myo-inositol to enhance relaxation and overall sleep quality.

Filling out the rest of the formula behind AGZ is 300mg of standard ashwagandha for cortisol management, and 200mg of the calming theanine. Saffron extract at 28mg provides antioxidant protection and mood balance, and then we have a specific calming blend with the likes of valerian root, chamomile, lemon balm, and holy basil. One thing you’ll notice that is not in AGZ is melatonin, a common sleep component that works but is not favored by many, and AG1 has proudly managed to make its nighttime solution without it.
AGZ is not as loaded or advanced as some of the other nighttime recovery powerhouses out there, although it covers a lot of bases in the same style as the original AG1. All of those active ingredients have been packaged into a flavored powder with three options in Chocolate, Mixed Berry, and Chocolate Mint. Coming from AG1, the price on AGZ is, of course, high, sitting at $89 for a month’s supply, and if you subscribe, that comes down a bit to $79.
