Built does something very different in its sweet and sour series of protein bars

Built Sour Puff Bar

Built Brands has launched a whole new series of flavors of its soft and fluffy Built Puff Bar, which is separate from its signature Built Bar. Typically, protein bars come in decadent flavors like chocolate, cookies, caramel, vanilla, and so on; basically, more dessert-like. The latest lot of launches from the functional brand really go against that in a couple of ways, introducing the intriguing Built Sour Puff Series.

The new family of flavors from Built Brands is a group of fruit-themed extensions of the Built Puff Bar with a tangy sour twist. You don’t often get entirely fruity flavors in protein bars, usually it’s something like white chocolate raspberry, not just raspberry. For the Built Sour Puff Series, the options are Blue Razz Blast, Green Apple Crush, and Sweet Peach Punch, each with 16g of protein and 150 calories.

The three products in the Built Sour Puff Series are designed to hit on both sides with a sweet fruit hit in the middle and a sour tang on the outside plus crunchy sugary bits sprinkled across the top. It makes for a very different experience in a protein bar, and you can grab any of them through the brand’s online store. Boxes of 12 are $29.99, and there is a variety pack with four each of flavor for the same price.
