Pandy recreates the love-or-hat liquorice in its new and salty squid-shaped candy

Pandy Salty Squids

The functional candy company Pandy, out in Sweden, has put together another intriguing entry in its catalog of low-sugar, low-calorie candy, and it’s a signature for that part of the world. The long-running health and nutrition innovator hasn’t gone for anything internationally common like its Peach Rings or Sour Skulls. Instead, Pandy has revealed and released Salty Squids, its better-for-you take on the strong salty liquorice.

The all-new Salty Squids Pandy Candy has recreated that unmistakable taste of liquorice but without the hefty hit of sugar the treat usually comes with. As per the name, the product comes in squid-shaped candy, which are straight black with a dusting of white across them. In a bag of Salty Squids, there is only half a gram of sugar, 7.5g of total carbohydrates, a huge 23g of fiber, 3.7g of protein, and a guilt-free 70 calories.

Liquorice is one of those candies that you either love or you hate, although in Scandinavia, especially Sweden, the percentage of those on the loving side is much higher. You can grab the new Salty Squids Pandy Candy from its website in your choice of a single bag at 20 SEK or save a bit with 14 bags at 18 SEK a piece.
