Redcon1 just relaunched its popular ready-to-drink protein shake, the MRE RTD, featuring all of the same key ingredients, nutrition, and flavors, but in a plastic 14oz bottle instead of the original carton. It turns out that’s not the only surprise the two-time Brand Of The Year had up its sleeve, it is also getting ready to launch the first ever authentic flavor collaborations for that product as well as the MRE Lite Protein Powder.
Coming soon to the menu of Redcon1’s MRE RTD and MRE Lite Protein Powder are authentic Hostess Cupcakes and Hostess Twinkies flavors. This was a partnership the brand announced earlier in the year and it is now coming to fruition. Supplement consumers may remember this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Hostess in sports nutrition; Remix Nutrition also partnered with the company for several flavor collaborations.
Redcon1 has confirmed that the long-awaited flavor collaborations with Hostess are hitting the market this fall, which isn’t that far away. If we’re talking early in the season, that’s as soon as next month, although it could be as late as sometime in November. Either way, we’ll be seeing the authentic Hostess Cupcakes and Hostess Twinkies MRE RTDs and MRE Lite Protein Powders on shelves before the end of the year.
