Bloom and Tandy make a functional candy with prebiotic fiber and natural caffeine

Bloom X Tandy Energy Blooms

The health and wellness company Bloom Nutrition has gone from strength to strength over the last year, entering the energy drink category with a multi-benefit competitor, the functional Bloom Pop soda, and very recently, it dropped an edible creatine. The brand has proven that, despite its explosive success, it is not affecting its innovation, and this week at the big box retailer Target, we’re getting even more of that with Energy Blooms.

Bloom Nutrition has actually teamed up with the emerging functional candy brand Tandy to create Energy Blooms, which is promoted as an edible candy version of the beverage Bloom Sparkling Energy Drink. The formula behind the delicious supplement isn’t as complex without premium Oligonol and Sunfiber. You still get a couple of other components in prebiotic vegetable starch and a rather light 50mg of natural caffeine from green tea.

The all-new Energy Blooms keep the nutrition reasonably low or at least in that better-for-you realm, with an entire 40g bag of the functional gummies having 9g of added sugar, 27g of total carbohydrates, 2g of protein, and 110 calories. It’s a reasonable alternative to traditional sugar-stacked candy, and in this one, you get extra functionality from the caffeine. Energy Blooms is available exclusively from Target at $3.49 a bag with pieces that have varying flavors inside in Strawberry Watermelon, Raspberry Lemon, and Peach Mango.
