Modern endurance brand Cadence moves into the traditional gel format

Cadence Core 24 Gel

Cadence is a dedicated sports performance and endurance brand, as those of you who are already fans will know. Its signature Core 500 product, with 500mg of sodium per serving, can be found as a powder in stick packs and as a convenient canned beverage. More recently, the brand expanded into energy drinks with Race 500, and before that, it actually put its core purpose of hydration and performance into a food with the Core 40 Bar.

Later this month, Cadence is expanding its variety of formats once again into one of the most traditional delivery systems for endurance athletes. The Core 24 Gel is the next innovation from the sleek, modern brand, which, like those other items, will have plenty of electrolytes. A single pack will have 200mg of sodium, 20mg of potassium, 10mg of calcium, and 5mg of magnesium, but the star feature will be a quality hit of carbohydrates.

As per the name of the performance product, the Cadence Core 24 Gel will have a title-referenced 24g of carbohydrates, at a 5:4 ratio of glucose to fructose for efficient absorption to maximize energy, fuel, and endurance. From powder to drink and bar, it’s great to see the brand broaden its selection and move into another format, with the neutrally flavored Core 24 Gel launching in ten days on Thursday, the 25th at usecadence.com.
