Protein By Mars moves into beverage with Snickers and Mars Protein Drinks

Snickers And Mars Hiprotein Drink

Protein By Mars, the line of high-protein foods and supplements in the United Kingdom and Europe from the candy giant Mars, has turned many of the company’s iconic treats into products with a health and nutrition approach. We’ve mostly seen protein bars from the subbrand as well as protein flapjacks, protein powder, and amino acids, never beverage, although that has changed this month, thanks to two completely new innovations.

Currently, with distributors and making their way out to retailers are Protein By Mars’ Mars HiProtein Drink and Snickers HiProtein Drink, both designed to taste like the candy bars highlighted in their names. Unlike those iconic treats, the drinks are much better nutritionally, with 20g of protein in a compact 250ml bottle, while the rest of the nutrition is relatively reasonable; not as lean as other protein RTDs out there, but again, reasonable.

Protein By Mars does do a good job at ensuring its various innovations do have a similar sort of taste and texture to the real thing, and while some of them do miss, the majority are in the right area. We imagine the new Mars and Snickers HiProtein Drinks will be as on point as any other item, if not more so, thanks to their milk base, which will give them that flavored milk experience with the individual flavors of the candy bars sprinkled on top.
