Next week, Barebells is officially releasing two new protein bars in Germany, where the selection of products is quite different. Germany is actually the only part of the world where you can get your hands on protein powders from the leading functional brand with whey, casein, vegan, brownie, and pancake varieties available. One of those upcoming snacks has actually hit shelves early, and the other one might not be far behind.
Barebells Germany has launched what might be a new protein bar, although it’s a little difficult to tell. The innovation is a Hazelnut Spread Barebells Protein Bar, and the reason we’re saying it might be something new is because it looks like the brand’s flagship bar, but it is significantly smaller. The regular Barebells Protein Bar weighs 55g with 20g of protein, while this one is lighter at 45g with 25% less protein at 15g and 167 calories.
The flavor also makes it sound like we might be in for a different taste, texture, and build on the inside in Hazelnut Spread. As mentioned, there are meant to be two new protein bars coming from Barebells in the German market, and we’ve got the sneaking suspicion that it might also be a spread flavor, like a series. Either way, we’re excited to see how it turns out, especially if the innovative brand has crafted something different.
