Joyburst previews Protein Soda Max with more than 7x the protein of the original

The functional food company Joyburst has landed itself plenty of attention over the last year or two due to its impressive amount of creative and intriguing innovation. One of the most recent was Protein Soda, a slim and sleek 12oz beverage that puts a very light 4g of protein into a flavor-first, no sugar soda. Obviously, 4g of protein is not going to have a huge impact on your daily protein intake, although it seems that’s because Joyburst had other plans.

The team at Joyburst has announced the coming of another entry in the Protein Soda Series, or technically, turn it into a series, with Protein Soda Max. As you could probably guess from the name, the upcoming extension to the Protein Soda family is a beverage with a much higher level of protein, much more acceptable and common for ready-to-drink protein. Instead of 4g, Joyburst has multiplied that by more than seven to 30g of protein per can.

Joyburst did say it wanted to put the most protein it could into Protein Soda without absolutely any impact on taste, although that is clearly not the case in Protein Soda Max. On this one, the focus is more about giving you a notable amount of protein and still sticking to low numbers else where, including no sugar. The promising Protein Soda Max is hitting the market early next year and will have at least two flavors in Icy Pop and Strawberry Lemonade.
