Moving on with the announcements of this year’s nominees for our Brand Of The Year Awards, we have the Newcomer Of The Year Award, which is an interesting one this year. Usually, we have quite an array of sports nutrition companies that very simply stood out. This year, the total number is much lower, although the caliber of the nominees is as good as always, and that goes for all five of the new and notable names in the industry.

This time around, the nominees for Newcomer Of The Year are dominated by North American supplement companies, including Floyd Mayweather’s One Of One and the premium sister brand of the stripped-down Basic in GR8. Also on the list is the young Intellekt, which debuted in hydration, pre-workout, and protein powder, right out of the gate, the Swedish powerhouse Skytrition, and the more hardcore newcomer, I Am Immortal.
Today’s list of nominees follows the handful of names up for International Brand Of The Year from yesterday and the lone nomination of Barebells for Functional Brand Of The Year on Monday. Tomorrow we’ll have the last group of nominees for one of our Brand Of The Year Awards, and it is the biggest in the overall Brand Of The Year. It’s been an incredibly fun-filled year, and we look forward to awarding the biggest innovators in the industry.
