Celo debuts with a whole food snack providing 15g protein from grass-fed whey isolate

Introducing Celo Nutrition

Celo Nutrition is a newly released functional food company that is building its name around a clean and nutritious protein bar. It is more of a raw, whole food-based competitor made with straightforward ingredients similar to a few other notable names in the category. Despite the nutritious approach, the newcomer still manages to pack a quality mix of macros that keeps the protein high, carbohydrates moderate, and calories reasonable.

The Celo Nutrition Protein Bar provides 15g of complete protein from grass-fed whey isolate and almonds or peanuts, depending on the flavor you grab — Blueberry Vanilla or Chocolate Peanut Butter. With nuts playing a strong role in the build of the product, the carbohydrates are a touch higher than the protein at 18 to 20g, with around half of that sugar, 1 to 3g of that added sugar, 11g of fat, and a consistent calorie count of 230 for both flavors.

Celo Nutrition sticks to its marketing and highlights in that it is purely made from raw, whole food ingredients, where the almonds, peanuts, and grass-fed whey isolate you have tapioca fiber, honey, vegetable glycerin, crispy protein pieces, dates, and a few other flavoring components. It is a solid alternative to the many candy bar-style functional foods out there, and you can grab it straight from Celo’s website at $29.99 for a box of eight.
