IronMaxx aims for a deliciously smooth texture in yet another entry in the protein bar category

Nutriyummy Soft Bite

IronMaxx in Germany is one of the many health and nutrition companies in Europe that has one hell of a functional food selection, and we’re not just talking your traditional formats like bars, cookies, and chips. The good thing about protein snacks is that there are always new shapes, sizes, and approaches for brands to innovate with and offer a different sort of experience, and that’s exactly what IronMaxx has done in its latest drop.

The Soft Bite Protein Bar is the newest product from IronMaxx in the protein bar category, and it separates itself from the likes of Maxxers, Zenith 50, Proteino, Prococo, Wafix, Prookie, and others by way of texture. As you could gather from the name of the innovation, Soft Bite is a soft and smooth protein bar that has a texture closer to a candy bar than your traditional high-protein food, and it still delivers on the nutrition side.

In a single Soft Bite protein bar, IronMaxx squeezes in 16 to 17g of protein, depending on the flavor you grab, just over 10g of carbohydrates, under 2g of that sugar, around 10g of fat, and a little less than 200 calories. Again, while the macros aren’t too bad, the focus is on the texture, so you’re trading less protein for an easy bite, and Soft Bite comes in two delicious-looking flavors with Peanut Caramel and a rich Chocolate Caramel.
