Absolute Nutrition in India has a core competitor in the pre-workout category by way of Wolverine, and it is relatively well-rounded. The brand combines classic ingredients at moderate to heavy amounts, including 2.5g of citrulline malate, a gram of arginine, a huge 6g of beta-alanine, and 300mg of caffeine. These days, it is extremely common for supplement companies to have more than one pre-workout, and here in 2026, that has become the case with Absolute.
Now available in its home country of India is Absolute Nutrition’s second pre-workout in Shrooms, and it is not what you’d think based on that name. The title “Shrooms” had us expecting some sort of product packed with mushroom extracts like lion’s mane, reishi, and cordyceps. The pre-workout has actually turned out to be something more traditional, also relying on familiar ingredients from the category, like Wolverine, but with better dosages across the board.

Absolute Nutrition’s Shrooms pre-workout comes with 5g of citrulline malate and a gram of arginine for pumps, and to drive performance, you get myo-inositol and 5.5g of beta-alanine and a touch of electrolytes. Rounding it out are some nootropics for focus and an infusion of energy. Taking care of the former is 1.5g of tyrosine, the synephrine source bitter orange, 150mg of theobromine, and slightly less caffeine than Wolverine at 250mg in a full serving.
Shrooms pre-workout is not too far from the already available Wolverine, with the only difference being the balance. On paper, the pre-workout has just as much performance, dialed up pumps thanks to the much higher amount of citrulline, better focus, and on par energy. Absolute Nutrition’s Shrooms has been given a more premium price tag, although for its launch, it has been heavily discounted, dropping to ₹1,229 (13.40 USD) for a tub of 30 servings in several flavors.
