Costco and Kirkland enter the energy drink race with a price of 70 cents a can

Costco Kirkland Energy Drink

Under its house brand Kirkland Signature, the major membership retailer Costco has entered itself into many different categories that compete with brands and products it sells. Back in 2024, that initiative saw the company enter the saturated world of protein powder, and last year, it entered the ready-to-drink protein market. Starting this year, Kirkland Signature is in another category we see a lot of here at Stack3d, in energy drinks.

Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drink is now showing up in Costco warehouses in a variety pack of 24 cans, with eight cans each of three different flavors in Tropical, Peach, and Orange. As for what’s inside the beverage, it brings together a blend of vitamins, including several B vitamins, and the notable antioxidant vitamin C. There is also some taurine, glucuronolactone, and, of course, caffeine at 200mg, similar to Ghost and Celsius.

Costco and Kirkland have crafted quite a straightforward energy drink, but it has everything you need, and keeps the nutrition guilt-free with zero sugar and just ten calories in its sleek 12oz can. Coming from the wholesale retailer, the price is obviously incredibly competitive at $16.99 for the entire box of 24. That works out to well under a dollar a can at just 70 cents apiece, making it tough to beat, especially if it tastes even slightly bearable.
