Mars releases another Gaia plant-based protein that has six different sources

Gaia Hyper Vegan Protein Powder

Mars in Taiwan heavily focuses on the protein powder category, offering a wide variety of protein solutions, including functional foods, plant-based alternatives, and several powder supplements that separate themselves in terms of sources of protein. On the vegan-friendly side, the brand already had Gaia, a straightforward plant-powered product that relies on soy to provide its heavy concentration of protein.

Joining the original Gaia Protein Powder this month is Mars’ Gaia Hyper Vegan, which, instead of relying on the one lone ingredient for its protein, like the original, it has six. The brand brings together soy isolate, pea, rice, pumpkin seed, sunflower, and coconut protein in Hyper Vegan, all plant-based, and combined, they provide 20g of protein per serving. There is also around 5g of carbohydrates, just over a gram of that sugar, 1 to 3g of fat, and between 108 and 128 calories, depending on which flavor you grab.

There are three flavors for Mars’ Gaia Hyper Vegan protein powder, which offer their own distinct tastes while still featuring that same base set of protein sources. The options are Hazelnut Peanut, Soy Milk, and Coconut, and like other protein powders from the brand, they come in boxes of single-serving sachets. The cost of Hyper Vegan is more than the regular Gaia product at $405 (51.68 USD) for a box of 30.
