Body Science introduces its even more cost-effective protein powder Whey 80%

Body Science Whey 80

Body Science is MM Sports’ more straightforward, value-driven house brand, a nice alternative to its exclusively premium and always advanced, award-winning Viking Power line. Knowing that, it’s no surprise that it has plenty of competitors in the essential protein powder category, including its flagship Whey 100% made with whey concentrate. The brand now has something that’s a bit more cost-effective than Whey 100% in Whey 80%.

MM Sports and Body Science’s new Whey 80% relies on two sources of protein in whey and milk concentrate to provide 19g of protein in a standard 30g serving, with 4g of carbohydrates, 2g of fat, and around 120 calories. That nutrition balance is very simply not as protein-concentrated, with about 7% difference, meaning per gram you’re getting less protein, which is one of the contributors to its price point being much kinder.

There are four flavors on the launch of Whey 80% through MM Sports’ online store, and they’re mostly traditional except for the chocolate options. The menu includes Strawberry, Vanilla, and two decadent ways to go with Chocolate Brownie and Triple Chocolate. The cost of a bag of Whey 80% is usually kr 299, but for the debut, it has been brought down to kr 249 (26.68 USD) for a smaller 900g bag, versus Whey 100% at kr 349 for a 1kg.
