Built Brands, maker of the popular protein snacks Built Bar and Built Puff, has jumped on the authentic collaboration wagon, but not with a familiar brand, food, or flavor. The functional food specialist has teamed up with the latest installment in the Despicable Me franchise, or specifically the Minions movie series. Built has timed the launch quite nicely, too, as Minions & Monsters is about to hit theaters across the country in one month.
Together with Minions & Monsters, Built Brands has reskinned the Banana Cream Pie flavor of its soft and fluffy Built Buff Protein Bar and launched the completely new Mystery Flavor. The brand does provide a few hints as to what the unnamed product is essentially, describing it as sweet and crisp with a bit of nostalgia. Our guess is something like candy apple or maybe some sort of candy, although it is the Mystery Flavor Built Puff for a reason.
Both of those are now available for purchase straight from Built Brand’s official online store in smaller packs of four bars at $10 for the Minions & Monsters branded Banana Cream Pie and Mystery Flavor. If you want a piece of both, there is the 12-piece box at $29.99 with six of each collaboration. The price of the box is actually the same value as the fours, so you’re not missing out on anything if you just grab one of each of the four packs.
