D-ribose and leucine get thrown in for Spark Protein’s premium Builder+

Spark Protein Builder Plus

Taiwanese supplement company Spark Protein is somewhat of a protein specialist, in the sense that almost all of its products are protein-based, whether we’re talking about the traditional powder or an edible functional food. Most of what the brand has available are relatively standard formulas for that particular category, although that is certainly not the case in its latest innovation with the intricate Builder+.

Spark Protein’s newly released Builder+ has classic whey and milk concentrate at its core, providing 23g of quality, muscle-building protein per serving, next to 3g of carbohydrates, about a gram of that sugar, under a gram of fat, and 114 calories. What makes it a little bit special and not a straightforward supplement is that, in addition to the whey, it features d-ribose, digestive enzymes, and added leucine to further enhance performance and recovery.

Again, Spark Protein has quite a few protein supplements on the market, but Builder+ comes in as its most advanced and most sports nutrition-specific, compared to the likes of Protein Milk, Pure, PlantiGood, Collagen, and even the original Builder. Like all premium offerings, Builder+ will cost you more than your average protein powder, available through Spark’s own website at TWD 569 (17.74 USD) for a box of ten servings.
