Since Cytosport created a light version of their Muscle Milk, it was no surprise that they went in the opposite direction to create the new Muscle Milk Gainer. After seeing the facts label with 54g of carbs, the mass protein didn’t seem to be packing much. However when you realize that it only has 16g of protein per serving, it’s numbers go through the roof.
Most weight gainers level off with 50g of protein so if we scale up Muscle Milk Gainer’s ratio it ends up with 169g of carbs. The sugar count sits just under 10g and the fat at a semi-high 14g. While the Monster Series vitamin would’ve been a much better supplement to see, Muscle Milk Gainer is an impressive product. It should be showing up in a retailer near you with four flavors on the menu, chocolate, cookies n cream, strawberry and vanilla.
