Gold Standard Nutrition adds a high protein pizza to its lineup

The food company Gold Standard Nutrition, who we introduced earlier this year, has added something new to its lineup this week that’s quite a bit different from its Pot O Gold meals. The latest creation from the UK-based brand is High Protein Pizza available in three delicious flavors with BBQ Meat Feast, Beef Bolognese, and Chicken Fajizza.

All of Gold Standard Nutrition’s High Protein Pizzas feature a base primarily made with wheat flour as well as pea protein isolate, olive oil, yeast, and salt. Another main feature consistent across all of the pizzas is the inclusion of EatLean protein cheese, to give it that extra high amount of protein compared to your regular pizza.

The toppings on the Gold Standard Nutrition High Protein Pizzas vary of course depending on the flavor, for example the Chicken Fajizza comes with smoked paprika, chilli, black pepper, and of course, chicken. While the toppings are different from flavor to flavor, their nutrition profiles are fairly similar, at least when it comes to their macro ratio.

The three different flavors of the High Protein Pizza have between 60.6g to 67.4g of protein, 42.8g to 49g of carbohydrates, 12.6g to 16g of fat, and a total number of calories between 540 to 596. Nutritionally, the product is not too bad, as when you work it out its protein to calorie ratio is better than the majority of protein bars.

Those interested in trying Gold Standard Nutrition’s all-new High Protein Pizza, whether it be in one, two, or all three of its flavors; you can now order the product directly from the brand’s website at a price of £4.50 (5.65 USD) per pizza.
