Earlier this year, Myprotein launched the tasty looking 6 Layer Bar, which we did end up reviewing and found it to be not too bad, although it was a bit short on sweetness. During the year the UK-based brand eventually rebranded the high protein snack, giving it a new look as well as a new name in Layered Protein Bar.
In the final two months of the year, Myprotein has released another flavor of its renamed Layered Protein Bar, its first, in fact, since hitting the market back in March. The new taste now available alongside the protein snack’s original four options is White Gold providing the same 20g of protein with around 219 calories.
Myprotein’s White Gold Layered Protein Bar features a protein-packed center, a layer of caramel, soy nuggets, and a white chocolate coating topped with caramel curls and even more white chocolate. The delicious-sounding product is in stock on the brand’s main online store at £24.99 (32.69 USD) for a box of 12 bars.
