A little over a year ago, Russian brand Fit Kit came out with one of the most unique protein snacks we’d seen in some time with Protein Macaron. The product came in small boxes of three bite-sized macarons; although true to the name, they’re packed full of protein, with the three macarons combining to provide 21g of protein, 5.8g of fat, 20g of carbohydrates, and 239 calories.
Fit Kit has now relaunched Protein Macaron with a much more finished look and feel, putting the product into plastic packets as opposed to the tissue-lined boxes. You can get a glimpse at the updated snack in the image above, which is more in line with its other delicious, high-protein treats, especially its flagship functional foods, Protein Cookie and Protein Cake.
As far as we know, the main ingredients and nutrition profile of Protein Macaron have remained the same, although Fit Kit has taken the opportunity to rename the product, now calling it Protein Chocoron. It also still comes in a strong selection of ten flavors, including the likes of Coconut and Cream, Double Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Yogurt, and Pistachio.
