Alien drops a more cost-effective protein powder that blends whey and milk

Alien Supplements Whey Protein Blend

Competitive Australian brand Alien Supplements has followed up the recent release of its first-ever plant-based protein powder, simply named Plant Protein, with another entry into the saturated space that’s, once again, separate from its original isolate-powered Protein and Plant Protein. The product is titled Alien Whey Protein, and it differentiates itself from the brand’s other offerings by featuring a more cost-effective blend-style formula.

Alien Supplements’ Whey Protein provides a reasonable 22.4g of protein per serving from a combination of whey concentrate and milk isolate, with the former making up 85% of the protein and 15% from the latter. Alongside that is 3.5g of carbohydrates, about two-thirds of that sugar, 2.6g of fat, and 129 calories. The brand has also thrown in the premium digestive enzyme blend DigeZyme at 50mg to support and improve digestion.

Alien Whey Protein, as mentioned, is a blend-style protein powder and is the most cost-effective in the category from the brand, available through its website at $65.65 (42.12 USD) for a 28 serving tub versus the $71.95 of Plant Protein and $89.95 of the isolate. To top it all off, Alien Supplements has given Whey Protein a strong four piece menu of Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Malt, Chocolate Honeycomb, and Strawberry Cheesecake.

Another detail well worth highlighting in case you’re wondering, Alien Supplements does have added glycine in its all-new Whey Protein, but it is not counted towards the protein amount, that is entirely from the whey and milk, as transparently outlined by that 85% and 15% split.
