Gatorade adds a vitamin-infused electrolyte supplement to its hydration arsenal

Gatorade Hydration Booster

Supplement companies have been entering the hydration category faster than any other space in the industry, but others have been tackling it, too. Newcomers to the business that are all about hydration products have entered the fray; non-traditionals like Liquid Death have made hydration supplements; and sports drinks already very familiar with hydration have put together competitors. Gatorade has further joined in on the action this month with its a new product, introducing Gatorade Hydration Booster.

The legacy sports drink brand Gatorade doesn’t go too heavy on the active ingredients with a variety of vitamins, including 90mg of the antioxidant vitamin c and b vitamins, and a combined 400mg of electrolytes to support hydration with 300mg of sodium and 100mg potassium. Again, it’s not too high in the dosages of active ingredients, but it does mix things up by infusing the various vitamins, and there is some nutrition to it with 8g of carbohydrates, 5g of that sugar, 3g added sugar, and 30 calories.

Those specific details remain the same across each of the three flavors of Gatorade Hydration Booster, which are Tropical Mango, Strawberry Watermelon, and Citrus Berry. The daily supplement built for hydration, recovery, and general health comes in boxes of six, although when shopping directly at gatorade.com, you’ll have to commit to a bit more than that. The brand asks that you buy a minimum of three packs at $13.49 each, with as big as a case of 32 on the list, which discounts to $8.09 a piece.
