Energy drink giant Celsius expands into hydration by way of a stick-pack supplement

Celsius Hydration

The beverage giant Celsius is known for its clean and bright-white-branded energy drink that has seen tremendous success internationally and heavily here in the US, officially becoming a billion-dollar brand in 2023, doing a monumental 1.3 billion in revenue. The company has branched out into other directions and paths outside of its signature energy drink with the higher-caffeine, performance-driving Celsius Essentials Energy Drink, and the stick-pack powder supplement Celsius On-The-Go.

Details have emerged on an entirely new product coming soon from Celsius that puts it back into the format of stick pack supplements that it has touched on before, but by way of a category, it had yet to dive into. Celsius Hydration has been revealed, backed by a blend of essential electrolytes to support all of the usual benefits for this sort of thing, including hydration, performance, and recovery. There is a fair amount of electrolytes in the product combining for just shy of a gram, breaking down into 210mg of sodium, 700mg of potassium, and 65mg of magnesium, for a total of 975mg.

Celsius has paired all of those electrolytes with B vitamins for its Celsius Hydration supplement, with vitamin B3, B5, B6, and B12. There is no caffeine in here, like the flagship Celsius Energy Drink, Essentials Energy Drink, or even its On-The-Go stick packs. The idea is, you just tear the top off one of the Celsius Hydration sticks and pour it into your bottle or shaker for all of the hydration and performance benefits, cleanly complete with no sugar, just a gram of carbohydrates, and 15 calories.

Five different flavors of Celsius Hydration have been revealed, not all of them from the menu of the Celsius Energy Drink with classics like Fruit Punch, Lemon Lime, Blue Razz, the two part recipe Strawberry Watermelon, and an Icy Arctic Cherry. The entire menu looks as though it’ll be making its way online and becoming available through the giant Amazon in boxes of 14 single-serving stick packs, enough for one a day for two weeks or a little under four times a week for an entire month.
