Wheyhey makes a packet of ready-to-eat higher-protein pancakes for Iceland

Wheyhey Protein Pancakes

Wind the clock back a few years, and the functional food company Wheyhey was known primarily for its high-protein ice cream. Now the brand in the United Kingdom has a whole host of products in a monstrous variety of foods such as protein pizza, clean and nutritious ready-to-eat meals, wraps, ice cream on a stick, and even higher-protein milk. Here in 2025, Wheyhey is furthering that effort to expand into other shapes and sizes, its latest innovation being protein-loaded pancakes.

Wheyhey’s all-new Chocolate Chip Pancakes is not a tub of powder that you can turn into pancake batter nor is it small high protein pancakes with a sweet gooey filling as we’ve seen from other functional competitors like Nano Supps, Bombbar, and Bite & More. Wheyhey’s pancakes are premade and ready to eat after a bit of warming in the oven or microwave. They are made with wheat flour, whole egg, whey and milk protein, brown sugar, cocoa for taste, and decadent chocolate chips.

The nutrition profile on one of the four pancakes per bag of Wheyhey protein pancakes is 4g, clearly not supremely high, carbohydrates landing around 12g a piece, about half of that sugar, 3.3g of fat, and sub-100 calories coming out to 94. Keep in mind the pancakes aren’t supremely small at 36g each, and in every packet you get 12g of them. They currently come in the one Chocolaet Chip flavor, hence the infusion of actual chocolate chips, and they’re now available from Iceland supermarkets.
