No Sugar Co and Joyburst are jumping on the functional soda trend with Super Soda

Joyburst Super Soda

The No Sugar Company’s dedicated and separate beverage brand Joyburst, initially an energy drink-only line, has done a lot of growing and expanding these past couple of years. The spin-off has been dropping innovations here and there, including the hybrid Protein Coffee and the clear, refreshing, and canned protein shake Joyburst Clear Protein Isolate. Moving into 2025, the creative minds at No Sugar Co are keeping things exciting, previewing another creation for Joyburst that is hitting a trend.

Quickly following the news of Bloom Nutrition’s functional soda Bloom Pop infused with apple cider vinegar and prebiotics, as well as corporate giant Pepsi snapping up the popular Poppi for close to two billion, No Sugar Company has previewed Joyburst Super Soda. Similar to the other competitors in the better-for-you functional soda space, the Joyburst entry includes prebiotics for gut health, ingredients for immune health, no sugar, naturally sweetened, and a taste on par with regular soda.

The flavor part is key, so when The No Sugar Company and Joyburst say it will have a taste in line with traditional soda, that can’t be taken lightly. It is difficult to do just that, as most competitors aim for a mainstream experience but eventually use the active ingredients as exceptions to why it doesn’t quite hit the mark. No Sugar Company has plenty of years under its belt to not let consumers down, and the turnaround is quick as it is saying Joyburst Super Soda is arriving in just over two months.
