Sauce brand Mrs. Taste has made a protein bar entirely based around Speculoos

Mrs Taste Speculoos Protein Bar

The Arnold Sports Festival in Brazil is taking place in a couple of weeks, and similar to many other major brands that’ll be in attendance, local functional brand Mrs. Taste will be debuting several completely new innovations. While Mrs. Taste is known for its delicious, better-for-you sauces, it has branched off into many other directions, more edible items, like Cookie’wich and Brown Rice Crackers. For the Arnold, Mrs. Taste will be showcasing three more bars, including Speculoos Protein.

Mrs. Taste’s Speculoos Protein Bar doesn’t appear to be a flavor of an already protein bar or anything like that; it seems to be a separate functional innovation that’ll stand on its own. The product will tip the scales at 50g a piece and pack a moderate amount of 9g of protein. That isn’t anywhere near the traditional 20g, but it still keeps things relatively reasonable in other areas, including no added sugar, and it offers a taste and texture similar to legendary speculoos biscuits.

It’ll be interesting to see what that looks like on the inside, in terms of layers, gooey fillings, and whatnot, although we’re confident Mrs. Taste will do the classic treat justice in its Speculoos Protein Bar. The Arnold Sports Festival Brazil is taking place at the end of next week, which is where the edible innovation will officially make its debut, followed closely by a launch in retail partners.
