Sepe Nutrition is expanding its original functional food offering, the Protein Treat, moving to a total of two flavors. The product is the brand’s only item available and is a Rice Krispies-style protein snack that debuted over a year ago in a sweet marshmallow flavor called Original. Sepe has announced that later this season, it is rolling out a Chocolate Peanut Butter, infusing its light and crispy high-protein treat with rich chocolate and smooth peanut butter, a nice contrast to Original.
The new flavor of Protein Treat will still deliver a moderate 15g of protein per bar but come with a slightly higher calorie count at 190, and by slightly higher, we mean ten more than Sepe Nutrition’s Original. Alongside the arrival of Chocolate Peanut Butter, the brand is revamping its look, adding a bit more color and complexity, and it is bringing that over to Original, although the name of that is being changed at the same time to the more obvious, taste-describing title of Marshmallow.
