The Protein Kitchen in Denmark is one hell of a functional food company, as it makes healthy high-protein bowls and meals as well as your all-familiar protein snacks. One of its two bar-format offerings takes a page out of the RXBar playbook by listing off its key ingredients right on the front of its label. The creative brand uses nuts, dates, and egg whites to deliver a wholesome and nutritious protein bar, and it now has one more flavor to choose from.
The real food ingredient-based Protein Bar from The Protein Kitchen has launched in a Banana & Cocoa flavor, joining the many already available options like Almonds & Coconut, Cashews & Cocoa, and a unique Lime & Ginger. The banana and chocolate extension is authentically made with cocoa nibs and freeze-dried banana, and provides a moderate 6.5g of protein, a sizeable 23g of carbohydrates, 17g of that sugar, 9.2g of fat, and 211 calories.
