Applied Nutrition’s authentic partnership with Sour Patch Kids is turning out to be even bigger than originally announced. When the collaboration was revealed, we got confirmation of three iconic candy flavors coming to the ABE Energy Drink and ABE Pre-Workout in Sour Patch Kids Watermelon, Blue Razz, and Redberry. It turns out those aren’t the only products getting the Sour Patch Kids treatment, as another performance supplement has quietly made its way to market.
Authentic Sour Patch Kids Redberry and Blue Raspberry flavors of Applied Nutrition’s Hydration+ have arrived, Hydration+ being a dedicated hydration formula featuring a comprehensive electrolyte blend with sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and chloride, alongside a full spectrum of B vitamins and vitamin C. The formula has a combined total of 1.19g of electrolytes from quality sources like coconut water and Aquamin, plus 2g of taurine, all in a convenient stick pack.
Interestingly, this is the first major retail appearance for the Applied Nutrition and Sour Patch Kids collaboration. While the authentic ABE Energy Drink and ABE Pre-Workout flavors were revealed back in June, Sour Patch Kids Redberry and Blue Raspberry Hydration+ have beaten them to shelves, now available at GNC. The retailer has the product in boxes of seven single-serving stick packs, priced at $12.99, with a buy-one-get-one deal also currently live for Pro members.
