Prime gives fans of its energy drink more to enjoy in a 16oz can with the same level of caffeine

Prime Energy Drink 16oz

Prime’s most recent release was the Prime Ice Series, a collection of flavors that offer a softer, lighter, cooler flavor intensity compared to the other options of the flagship Prime Hydration Drink. Something else that is making its way out into the market shortly from the beverage behemoth that indeed came as a surprise to us is the launch of a bigger version of its caffeinated product. Since its debut, the Prime Energy Drink has been available in a 12oz can, but a more traditional 16oz is right around the corner.

There are going to be four flavors right out of the gate for the larger 16oz Prime Energy Drink, all of which are from the current menu of the caffeinated beverage, with the exception of one. The list of options includes Ice Pop renamed Dripsicle, the sweet-tasting Original, citrusy Dream Pop, and the completely new taste, Cherry Limeade. Interestingly, the active ingredients and contents of the product are very much the same as the slimmer 12oz can of Prime Energy despite being one-third larger.

Just like the original, the Prime Energy Drink 16oz can has 200mg of caffeine, taurine, inositol, and a blend of electrolytes totaling 300mg instead of the 355mg of the 12oz. The nutrition is still nice and light, with no sugar in any of the four flavors, 3 to 4g of carbohydrates, and a calorie count of 10 to 15. If you’re a fan of the current version, there is no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy the larger 16oz, as you get essentially all of the same ingredients and benefits with more to drink and a new Cherry Limeade flavor.
