Betancourt educate fans on gelatin protein in Beef Standard sales pitch

Last time we checked in on Betancourt’s upcoming beef protein powder the Beef Standard, we were able to confirm most of it’s details. We got a few of it’s numbers per serving, as well as it’s complete menu made up of prime chocolate, cinnamon swirl and prime vanilla. We’ve now finally got a complete description and look at the supplement, that Betancourt are still listing as coming soon. From top to bottom Beef Standard lists it’s previously confirmed 24g of protein, with 3g of carbohydrates (1g fiber), zero fat and cholesterol, 3g creatine monohydrate and 110 calories. To go with the product’s facts panel the brand have also given an official description for Beef Standard, which does feature all the usual lines although does touch on something you won’t hear much about from competitors. The topic of interest is gelatin, a protein source Betancourt describe as “notorious for being a protein source that is low in bioavailability”. The brand warn fans to steer clear of supplements with it on their label as “gelatin from a bovine source can help support claims of beef protein content but it is a poor source of protein to support muscle recovery and performance”. The price is the one last piece of information we’re waiting on, something that obviously always comes with the launch of the product.
